The IMEAS CrossSander (CR-TB) is particularly advisable for MDF/HDF and Chipboard panels that are then bound to be varnished, painted or coated with light melamine papers (20 gr/m2).
The underneath concept consists into cutting – crosswise with respect to the feeding direction – the “micro-peaks” that are part of the normal roughness of standard wood-based panel, thus considerably reducing it and to obtaining a more homogeneous, consistent surface.
By implementing CrossSander (CR-TB) machines in a sanding line, Customers can benefit from:
- Feeding speed of up to 150 m/min
- Sanding speed of up to 70 m/min
- A homogeneous, consistent surface
- Chatter-free surface thanks to the Slide Pad System
