Particle board is manufactured from wood or other plant fragments that are bonded with adhesives and pressed under high temperature to form panels with uniform density.
Unlike solid wood, it has no natural grain direction, which reduces the risk of cracking or splintering during cutting and machining.
Its smooth and even surface is well-suited for painting, laminating, or veneering, significantly lowering processing costs.
Although generally classified as a non-structural panel, particle board is widely used in the production of furniture and cabinetry, as well as in construction, shelving, and interior decoration projects.
