The technological conquests reached by the designing of artificial Termolegno drying kilns, guarantee a correct drying cycle, a reduction in the weight of the dried timber, a faster complete process and, above all, 30%-50% less wood waste compared to the seasoning. Every typology of system Termolegno can be set in the green version counting on numerous advantages → • The heat recovery system, via by-pass, can result in energy savings of up to 35%.

• The inverter equipment in the plants rationalizes the use of electricity with a considerable reduction of the costs.

• The proportional electronic control of the thermal flow, with anemometer, allows the user to manage drying with cost-effectiveness and modularity, where and how it is needed.

• The high-pressure humidifying system, with the use of a smaller quantity of nebulized liquid, reduces remarkably the consumption of water and heating, making the process even faster. 

Kit active drying, START AND STOP New Technology developed for energy saving, to reduce drying costs and improve product quality. The kit consists of discontinuous drying programs studied and tested by our R&D. By reducing or totally switching off the fan speed, it is possible to reduce electricity and heat consumption by up to 50% without lengthening the cycle time. This technology also has the advantage of guaranteeing a very high product quality by reducing the tensions inside the wood and guaranteeing a more effective and homogeneous air flow in the dryer. The Kit includes monitoring and consultancy service for 2 drying cycles on one type of wood.
