Senosan presents new PET films and sustainable product range

At Vietnam Wood, plastics specialist Senosan will be presenting several new products. A novelty in the program are PET films, which will be produced with a new production line from mid-2023. The company has invested around 10 million euros in this at its headquarters in Piesendorf, Austria. Furthermore, Senosan will show the anti-fingerprint surface senosan AM1800TopMatt AF - now also in the trendy color titanium metallic with 3D effect. With the new colors bronze metallic and titanium gray metallic, Senosan is expanding its GLASS product line. The company is also breaking new ground in the area of sustainability: In addition to the already available senosan ECO furniture films made from recycled plastics, an rPET ECO variant and bio-plastics are to be added to the environmentally friendly product range. "We have already obtained the necessary ISCC certification for this. This is a big step towards the goal of climate-neutral production at the Piesendorf site," says Günter Klepsch, CEO of Senoplast Klepsch & Co GmbH.

The new PET film range will be produced in Senosan's usual premium surface quality, which remains the benchmark in the furniture industry. The PET films will be available with high-gloss and matte surfaces in a wide range of colors and in thicknesses from 0.2 to 0.9 mm. With the expanded product portfolio, Senosan is a one-stop shop for everything from acrylic surfaces to PET, in thin to thick thicknesses. In addition to UNI and metallic color shades, a wide variety of decor variants are also available. The combination of matt and glossy surfaces is also possible.

Anti-fingerprint film in titanium metallic

The exceptional senosan AM1800TopMatt AF furniture surface is now available in the new color titanium metallic in a thickness of 0.5 mm. The new shade has a metallic shimmer that creates a 3D effect and makes the surface a unique eye-catcher. In addition, the innovative film combines several special advantages: thanks to its anti-fingerprint properties, it is not only particularly dirt-repellent, but also has a velvety feel - ideal for various interior furniture applications. For the development of this furniture foil, Senoplast was honored as one of the six most innovative domestic companies at the State Innovation Award in 2021 and already in 2020 with the Salzburg Innovation Award.

New colors for the GLASS series

The high-quality senosan TopX GLASS and TopMatt GLASS surfaces impress with their glass appearance with enormous depth effect. Senosan is now expanding this product line with the colors Bronze metallic and Titanium gray metallic - both in a matte finish with a thickness of 1.5 mm. The co-extruded material combines the noble look of real glass fronts with the processing and usage advantages of plastic panels. Senosan GLASS is available from stock in a total of nine colors in addition to the matt finish (frosted glass).

Sustainable bioplastics

In terms of sustainability, Senoplast is taking the next step to reduce its carbon footprint and achieve climate neutrality. In addition to the already available senosan ECO furniture films, which are largely made from recycled plastics, the new PET product line will also be offered as an environmentally friendly rPET ECO variant. In addition, bioplastics are planned under the senosan ECO-B brand to complement the sustainable product range. The focus here is on the mass balance approach for Senoplast. The aim is to use renewable raw materials as a substitute for fossil raw materials right at the beginning of the production chain.
