VietnamWood 2025 - The 16th Vietnam Woodworking Industry Fair and its special showcase, Furnitec 2025, once again reinforces its dominant role in Vietnam’s woodworking exhibition landscape. Held from November 19 to 22, the four-day fair drew 12,754 international buyers from 60 countries and regions, bringing together the global woodworking community at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Vietnam.

Over 320 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Singapore, Taiwan, the United States of America, and Vietnam, gathered to present solutions aligned with this edition’s three core themes: sustainability, woodworking advancements, and digitalization. These themes were prominently showcased throughout VietnamWood 2025, underscoring the industry’s unified move toward eco-friendly production and intelligent manufacturing. Their collective presence reflects global industry momentum and the strong confidence in the Vietnamese market.
A Global Woodworking Platform – VietnamWood 2025
To capture industry sentiment and the strong engagement at the fair, leading exhibitors from around the world shared their perspectives on Vietnam’s woodworking market and their experience at VietnamWood 2025.

Xavier Jorge, Sales Manager of BARBERÁN, S.A., noted, “At VietnamWood 2025, we not only had the opportunity to meet our Vietnamese clients, but also clients from India, China, and Thailand. This diversity of visitors made the event especially interesting for us.”

NGUYEN ANH TUAN, General Manager of CONG TY TNHH DAI PHUC VINH, marked, “Vietnam is the world’s second-largest wood-processing export market, just behind China. With an abundant and highly skilled workforce, Vietnam has established itself as a strong and reputable player in the wood-processing sector across the region. VietnamWood 2025 brings together an impressive lineup of suppliers from Europe, Taiwan, China, and Vietnam. The diverse range of exhibitors—from raw materials to consumables and accessories—makes the event a highly valuable and practical platform for the entire wood industry.”
Vince Tran, Country Director of Canadian Wood, said, “Vietnam is the No.1 exporter of wood and wood products in Southeast Asia, and with this strong position comes a clear trend: international buyers are increasingly demanding certified timber in their product lines. Canada is proud to offer a reliable supply of certified, sustainable timber to meet that growing demand.”
CHAN JICK CHUN, Regional Director, Southeast Asia & Greater China of American Hardwood Export Council, highlighted, “VietnamWood is a highly important exhibition for us. We have participated in more than 15 editions, which has greatly helped us build and strengthen our networks. We will continue to support this event in the years to come.”
Ian Chang, General Manager of INNOVATOR Machinery Co., Ltd., commented, “Vietnam has long been one of the most important countries for exporting furniture and wood-related products. We have been present in Vietnam since 2002, and we see it as a highly promising and potential market for our continued growth.”
Beyond those, several exhibitors also highlighted their product strengths.

Albrecht Bartolein, General Director of Blum Vietnam Co., Ltd., shared, “Blum is Austria’s leading furniture manufacturer. We have been active in the Vietnamese market for over 20 years, and we operate warehouses in both northern and southern Vietnam to better serve our customers.”

Sebastian Schaefers, General Director of Jowat Vietnam Co., Ltd., stated, “Jowat is a German company known for many signature products, such as PUR glues for edge-banding as well as thermoplastic adhesives. Come visit us—we are here to talk with you and introduce more of our products.”

NGUYEN DANG QUOC ANH, Project Manager of THUAN HIEN ONE MEMBER CO., LTD., mentioned, “THUANH HIEN introduces a range of new solutions at VietnamWood 2025. The first is our robotics system designed specifically for the wood-processing industry. In the long term, we aim to expand these applications into other fields such as mechanical engineering and machine manufacturing. Here, you can see our robot developed for wood finishing and coating. We also offer welding robots, material-handling robots, and integrated solutions that combine AI with advanced machinery. These innovations help boost productivity, reduce operational risks, and significantly enhance product quality.”
Jason Fang, Project Director of Nanxing General Agent CO., LTD., pointed out, “The products we are showcasing this time include automatic panel saws, automatic edge banders, and automatic drilling centers, as well as many other automation solutions for your reference.”

DAM QUI KY from BASSO INDUSTRY CORP., remarked,” Bex is a Taiwanese company with 40 years of experience in handheld products and equipment. Our products have earned numerous awards for their quality and durability. Our main product range includes drilling machines, welding machines, nail guns, grinders, and screwdrivers. In particular, this product line has received many prestigious awards in Taiwan.”

Alongside the exhibition, VietnamWood 2025 hosted impactful concurrent seminars where industry experts and professionals shared timely market insights and practical knowledge essential for today’s woodworking industry.
NEXTGEN Pavilion: Crafting Everyday Moments with Wood
The NEXTGEN Pavilion, a dedicated zone at VietnamWood 2025, not only showcased award-winning works by students but also offered hands-on craft activities that attracted strong interest from both local and international visitors.
Together, these seminars and the NEXTGEN Pavilion strengthened VietnamWood 2025 as a hub of creativity, technology, and next-generation innovation within the woodworking industry.

Vietnam’s Wood Industry Stays Resilient — Be Part of the Next Growth Wave
“Vietnam’s wood processing industry is facing a period of strong and promising development. In the first ten months of 2025, Vietnam’s wood and wood products export turnover is estimated to reach USD 14 billion, an increase of 6% over the same period in 2024,” said Mr. Phung Quoc Man, President of Handicraft & Wood Industry Association of HCMC (HAWA) at the opening ceremony.
With the industry continuing to expand and market demand rising, VietnamWood has proven itself as a vital platform for global suppliers to connect with buyers, showcase innovation, and tap into new opportunities.
Building on this year’s strong momentum, the next VietnamWood will held in October 20-23, 2027 and is now open for booth booking.
