Established since 1864, Les Avivés de l’Est is a French sawmill specializing in high quality hardwoods, located in the heart of Franche-Comté’s forests, one of the main reputed French forest in terms of quantity and quality. Les Avivés de l’Est transforms local hardwood species such as mainly Beech, Ash, Oak and Acacia and, to a lesser extent, hornbeam, lime, sycamore maple and cherrywood. The sawmill combines traditional expertise with modern technology, supported by a skilled team and continuous investments in sawing, ripping, drying, cross cutting, storing and processing. Our product range includes unedged timber (selected or boule), square edged timber, squares, dimension stock and acacia terrace decking, all crafted to meet the highest standards for customers across Europe and beyond.
