The 16^th Vietnam International Woodworking Industry Fair (VietnamWood 2025) and its special showcase, The Vietnam International Furniture Accessories, Hardware & Tools Fair (Furnitec 2025), will take place at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Vietnam, from November 19^th to 22^nd. Underscoring its strong international appeal, this year’s event will span 13,500 square meters,  gather over 320 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Singapore, Taiwan, the United States of America, and Vietnam, among others. Vietnam’s Woodworking Industry Keeps Breaking New Ground

According to Vietnam Briefing, in 2024, the industry achieved record exports of US$17.3 billion, with US$1.05 billion from non-timber forest products, such as bamboo and rattan. Vietnam’s wood product portfolio is expanding beyond traditional offerings to include value-added, eco-friendly items. The Vietnam Timber and Forest Products Association (VIFOREST) reports that more than 520,000 hectares of forest in Vietnam are now certified for sustainable management, which accounts for approximately 13 percent of the total planted forest area.

The United States remains Vietnam’s largest export market, accounting for around 56 percent of total wood product exports. While a new 20 percent tariff was introduced this month, Vietnam continues to maintain a relatively competitive position. The Vietnamese government is also actively engaged in negotiations with the US to seek favorable trade conditions.
